“Comfortable in the centre of the city”

Expat in the spotlight

For Bianca Larisa Moraru it took some adjustment in 2019: “Honeywell sent me to Antwerp to work on a long-term project. When I arrived here, the ever-changing weather made me sad. In Romania the temperature is 35 to 40°C in the summer. In the autumn it rains. And in the winter it snows. But here you can have sun, rain and snow on the same day. But now I even enjoy walking or running in the rain.”

During the first eight months in Antwerp, Bianca Larisa Moraru stayed in a hotel: “This was OK and easy at the start. But very quickly I wanted my own kitchen and slightly more room to create my new home. So I started looking on the internet for a comfortable apartment in a safe district. And that’s when I found RentMore. Their residence Roosevelt Square combines the best from different worlds: cosiness, comfort, view and accessibility. It’s a five-minute walk to the Central Station, De Meir and the Stadspark.”

“RentMore’s service is really complete”

The fact that Bianca Larisa Moraru was already staying in Antwerp made it somewhat easier to go and view potential apartments: “I immediately noticed that at RentMore they give you a really thorough tour. I received clear answers to all my questions. And by the way, the apartment was the best that I found here. And the location is exceptional … really great! It’s extra easy that I can pay my ‘all inclusive’ invoice online. With our company card it’s difficult to take out or transfer large sums of money. Paying online saves me the monthly requests and management approvals.”

“Just like home as much as possible”

Bianca Larisa Moraru grew up in a green city surrounded by mountains: “Therefore, an apartment in the centre of the city was new for me. But I immediately fell in love with my two-room apartment on the seventh floor. With the large windows and enclosed balcony there’s an impressive view over Antwerp. I had everything I needed when I arrived here. But I’ve added my own touches with photos of me and my family, my favourite books and the floral-print bedding that I found during my afternoon shopping trip. In this way I’ve made the apartment my own so that it feels like home.  That in combination with the great city, I’d really recommend my apartment for other expats: eat waffles, drink beer and enjoy the rain! So you’re happy here the whole time.”
